Chloe is a long-standing Member of the Enspiral Network, based in New Zealand. She has a diverse background in design, community activation, facilitation, social enterprise and movement-building but is most passionate about how communities can shape and creatively own their urban spaces – stewarding them as a Commons.  Two years ago she moved to Christchurch to bring this flavour to the rebuilding effort there after huge earthquakes destroyed most of the city in 2011. Since then she’s helped set up the Food Resilience Network, project managed the Festival of Transitional Architecture . In the past year she’s been leading the Ōtākaro Orchard project – the only anchor project in the the government’s blueprint which is being led by community.  Core geek areas : participatory process, collaborative decision-making, radical humanism at work, redesigning cities for the 21st century.
